The Centro de Lenguas Modernas de la Universidad de Granada (CLM) organizes each Fall and Spring a photo competition in order to collect and display students' experiences in Granada and at our centre he life of a CLM student – their classes, the patio, the University, the city, their host family, friends, travels ... any subject that reflects their study experience in Granada.
Participation in this competition implies acceptance of all these regulations:
El Centro de Lenguas Modernas de la Universidad de Granada (CLM) organiza un concurso de fotografía con la finalidad de recopilar y mostrar las experiencias de sus estudiantes en Granada y en nuestro centro.
Any person enrolled on a course at CLM during the academic year 2017-2018
The life of a CLM student – their classes, the patio, the University, the city, their host family, friends, travels ... any subject that reflects their study experience in Granada.
Photographs should be e-mailed to: concursosclm and "Photo Contest CLM" should be specified in the subject. Remember you should also include your name, surname, the course you are doing or have done at CLM and a title for every picture you send.
from 1st February to 15th April
Reception of photographs. They will be posted on the CLM web page as we receive them.
from 18th April to 1st May
Publication of all photographs on Facebook for public vote. The 10 most voted photos, together with another 10 photos selected by the panel of judges, will be the finalists in the competition.
from 4th to 13th May
Publication on Facebook of the 20 finalist photos. Popular vote for the "Prize for the most voted photo by the public" .
14th May
Vote counting and decision by panel of judges.
17th May
Prize giving in CLM patio. At 13:30h
Participants may submit a maximum of 5 pictures each. Maximum two of the 5 photos can enter the final.
The photographs must have an electronic format regardless of how they were taken. Only the following formats are acceptable:. .jpg, .gif and .tif. A minimum resolution of 1200 x1600 pixels is recommended.
The participant declares and warrants that he/she is the sole owner of all copyright on the photographs presented in this competition and takes full responsibility that there is no third party copyright involved either, or any third party model release.
The photos submitted will be included in CLM files. The photographers give their permission for the photographs presented to be used in exhibitions and/or latterly by CLM on its website, pamphlets or any other medium.
The organisation is empowered to resolve any contingency not covered by these Regulations.
The winner of the contest will be announced on 15 May on Facebook. The winners will also be notified individually. This decision is final. If the jury considers it appropriate, the prize may be declared void.
- 1st Prize. Gift voucher worth 70 euros*
- 2nd Prize. Gift voucher worth 50 euros*
- 3rd Prize. Gift voucher worth 30 euros*
- Prize for the most voted photo by the public. Gift voucher worth 30 euros*
